Galaxy S21 or S20FE?
If you're stuck between the two, the deciding factor is likely to be size.
The Galaxy S21 AND S20 FE will almost certainly be the best deals for anyone shopping for a smartphone right now. The Galaxy S20 FE offers the large form factor that you'll likely be familiar with if you've bought a Samsung phone recently. , even though it uses Qualcomm's high-end 2020 chip (Snapdragon 865), not the latest Snapdragon 888 that's around. You'll find it in the Galaxy S21 family. In terms of speed, it's not likely to make a difference.
The S20 FE is easily one of the best smartphones to buy at $480, including key features like IP68 water resistance, 5G, and wireless charging (unlike previous Samsung FE phones). The S21 is a smaller phone, but it offers a more powerful chipset and modem, as well as an all-glass and metal body (the S20 FE has a plastic rear cover). The S21 will also receive a major additional update to a higher Android version than the S20 FE and later, as it launched with Android 11, though both receive the same general level of software support (three major updates).
Both phones work unlocked on all major US carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.
If you're stuck between the two, size is likely to be the deciding factor. The S20 FE is a very important phone, while the Galaxy S21 is more compact. The cameras between the two are pretty much the same, as is the software and the screens (aside from their dimensions). Both offer excellent values at these discounted prices, however, we don't think you'll be unhappy with either decision. Both phones work unlocked on all major US carriers, Including AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile, including carriers' 5G networks (although the unlocked S20 FE lacks mmWave network support).
