As planned, Xiaomi has officially presented its new Redmi Note 10 series, which, fulfilling the forecasts and as usual in the Chinese manufacturer, comes made up of several models: Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10S.

Of all of them, we are going to stop at the Redmi Note 10, which comes to succeed the Redmi Note 9 with two variants depending on its connectivity (4G or 5G) and some other important difference. Among the features they share, the rear camera with a 48-megapixel main sensor and its 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging stand out. Let's take a closer look at the rest of the specifications.

Different screen, different cameras

Redmi Note 10

The Redmi Note 10 mounts a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED screen , while the Redmi Note 10 5G makes do with a 6.5-inch LCD; In both cases, it has FullHD+ resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 glass and a perforation in the center of the upper part where the front camera is housed (whose resolution is 13 MP in the 4G model and 8 MP in the 5G model).

In the back, we have a photographic equipment with a 48 MP main sensor accompanied by three other lenses in the 4G variant (wide angle of 8 MP, 2 MP macro and 2 MP depth sensor) and two more sensors in the Redmi Note 10 5G (2 MP macro and 2 MP depth sensor).

To feed themselves, the two models have a 5,000 mAh battery, but this supports fast charging of 33 W in the 4G model and 18W in the 5G model. The fingerprint reader is located on the side, while at the bottom we have the USB-C port and the headphone jack.

Let's talk now about the processor, where the big difference between both versions lies. The 4G variant comes with the Snapdragon 678, while the 5G model incorporates Mediatek's Dimensity 700 with support for Dual SIM 5G on board.

In both cases, we have two RAM memory options (4 and 6 GB LPDDR4X) and two internal storage (64 and 128 GB UFS 2.2 ), as well as the same operating system: MIUI 12 on Android 11.

Connectivity, apart from 5G, is identical in both cases: WiFi ac and Bluetooth, to which the 4G model adds NFC and the 5G variant, the infrared emitter. The Redmi Note 10 also adds the IP53 certification for resistance to water and dust and dual speakers with Hi-res Audio.

In Spain, Xiaomi will market both models in two different configurations, each depending on storage, but all of them will have 4 GB of RAM:

In addition, Xiaomi has confirmed that both the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 5G will be available in several different colors: Onyx Gray, Pebble White or Lake Green for the former, and Chrome Silver, Graphite Gray, Nighttime Blue and Aurora Green for the second.
