Of course, neither of these two apps will be able to recover deleted messages before installation.

Can all deleted photos be retrieved?

It will depend on each case, and above all on the time that has elapsed since they were removed, however, by appealing to the above-mentioned procedures, it is feasible to recover the lost photos in their entirety.

How to search for deleted photos inside Whatsapp backups?

The option is viable only in case you have the WhatsApp backup enabled. Although, yes, the option is only possible on Android; this is because WhatsApp in your iPhone version uses iCloud to save your backup.

In WhatsApp, you will have to open the menu, the button with three vertical points. Play the settings option and go to "chats". There you can see the backup option.

You will be able to see at what date and time the last backup was made to Google drive. With this information you can determine whether the photo or video you have lost are there and therefore continue with this method.
