The chassis is aluminum, so the passage of time resists perfectly.This does not remove so that certain scratches or strong blows can be marked on the surface but, in general, the iPad is a resistant device, which we can put in the backpack without worrying too much because it spoils.

The new iPad is only available in two finishes: space gray and silver.The model that I have tried is the spatial gray color, which has a dark gray finish that, personally, find very attractive.

The use of a laminar panel has an advantage in the event that the iPad is used by children since, if the front glass is broken, you do not need to spend hundreds of euros in replacing the full screen.

The iPad screen does not have an anti -reflective film, which makes use difficult when there are intense light sources such as lamps or, directly, the sun.

Placing the iPad next to an iPad Air or iPad Pro next to a window, it is clear that more reflections are seen on the iPad screen.Even in the photographs of this analysis, the reflexes are quite evident in some cases.

To analyze the quality of the screen we have performed various tests with the professional software Calman Ultimate and an X-Rite I1Display Pro colorimeter.

The maximum brightness is quite high, since it is found in 500 nits according to my own measurements, which is exactly the value announced by Apple on the specifications sheet.This is also the same value that the iPad Air (two0two0) obtains, but it is below the 600 nits of the iPad Pro (two0two1).

IPAD PHOTOS APP

The iPad uses Ipados, Apple's mobile operating system specially adapted for tablets.

Ipados is based on iOS, but take advantage of the largest size of the tablets screen to offer additional functionalities such as the divided screen to run two apps at the same time or the loading of web pages in desktop mode.

In my opinion, the iPad has a price that makes it very interesting for those users who want all the advantages of a tablet, but do not want to spend a lot of money, especially if you opt for WiFi model.
