The app store is where we go, both on our iPhone and on our iPad or Mac, to buy and download apps. Over time and use the number of applications purchased is increasing, but not all of them have always given us the expected results. At some point we may want to hide certain apps from our shopping history.

A record that is better to keep tidy

Apps that haven't worked as they should, old or just apps that we're not going to want to use again take up space unnecessarily on the app store shopping list. A list where it is interesting to maintain some order in order to be able to access our purchases quickly when we need it.

Fortunately, we can hide the purchases we consider. We can also do it from our iPhone, iPad and Mac. In the case of the first two steps, the following steps are to be taken:

1. Abrimos la app App Store en nuestro iPhone o iPad.
2. Tocamos nuestra foto en la parte superior derecha.
3. Tocamos en Comprado.
4. Si se nos pregunta tocamos en Mis compras.
5. Mantenemos presionado sobre la app que queremos ocultar.
6. Elegimos Ocultar.

That easy. In Mac the process is very similar, the steps to follow are these:

1. Abrimos la app App Store en nuestro Mac.
2. Tocamos nuestra foto en la parte inferior izquierda.
3. Pasamos el ratón por encima de la app que queremos ocultar y hacemos clic en el botón en forma de tres puntos que aparece.
4. Elegimos Ocultar compra.

And that's it. With this system we can hide purchases that we no longer need and maintain order on this important list. Just like we just hid a purchase, however, we may at some point want to uncover it. True, it's unusual, but we may, for example, have hidden an app without wanting it.

Whatever the reason to want to re-show a purchase we can do it very easily. From our iPhone or iPad the process is as follows:

1. Abrimos la app App Store en nuestro iPhone o iPad.
2. Tocamos nuestra foto en la parte superior derecha.
3. Tocamos nuestro nombre, en la parte superior.
4. Si es necesario nos identificamos mediante contraseña, Touch ID o Face ID.
5. Tocamos en Compras ocultas.
6. Tocamos Mostrar junto a la app que queremos volver a ver.

On the Mac, again, the process is similar to the one we just saw. Exactly, the steps to be taken are as follows:

1. Abrimos la app App Store en nuestro Mac.
2. Tocamos en Ver información.
3. Si es necesario nos identificamos mediante contraseña o Touch ID.
4. Dentro de Artículos ocultos, junto a Compras ocultas tocamos Gestionar.
5. Tocamos Mostrar junto a la app que queremos volver a ver.

Easy, right? With these simple steps we can show and hide purchases from our transaction history. Something very useful to keep order on a list that, over time, can become kilometers. The apps we know we won't want to use again, we can hide them, if we change our minds later, we show them again and that's it.
