However, new developments only add to the amount of things we can do with the app, many of which are unknown to a large part of its users. For example, almost all of us have sent some audio to one of our contacts, which we mistakenly deleted just for ourselves. Well, we have good news: it can be recovered, and without having to download an application from third parties.

How to recover deleted audio

First of all, it should be noted that this process is only available to users with Android devices, as they have access to the application's internal folders. To recover the audio file, we will only have to follow these simple steps.

1. Accedemos al menú de nuestro dispositivo.
2. Buscar la carpeta Mis archivos (normalmente en Herramientas u Otras Aplicaciones)
3. Una vez dentro, escribiremos ‘WhatsApp Voice Notes’ o ‘WhatsApp audio’ en el buscador, y nos aparecerán todos los audios recibidos, pero también los enviados o eliminados por nosotros mismos.
4. Para recuperarlo, copiamos el archivo en la carpeta principal.
