Safari is one of the apps that have been developed the most in recent years. To the point that we can also download things from the browser, when before it was only possible on the Mac. When we browse the internet with Safari, we may need to download some file or document. To do this, all you have to do is press and hold a link if it is a PDF or click on the button that activates the download automatically. Once the download has started, we will see a down arrow icon appear next to the address bar.

If we click on it, the download menu will be displayed and we will be able to access the file quickly. But what happens when I want to access this document later? Where are Safari downloads saved? To do this, simply go to Files> iCloud Drive> Downloads.

All files automatically downloaded from Safari are saved there. You may already have the location of this folder saved in your Files bookmarks, making it much easier to access. If you would like to change the downloads folder in Safari, there is an easy way to do it.

Just go to Settings> Safari> Downloads and choose one of the three options available. We can leave iCloud Drive, which is the default option and will synchronize with the rest of our devices, choose a local location on the iPhone or iPad or opt for a third-party service such as Dropbox or OneDrive to store them.

As we can see, it is not far from how it works on a Mac or another computer. Now that you have located the folder where Safari downloads are saved in iOS, it's time to take a look at it and clean it up. Surely you have files there that you downloaded no one knows when and that you no longer need.
