Huawei lost its privileged position in the market during the phase of changing its strategy and redefinition. Waiting for its rebirth, the Chinese brand has not lost either ambition or technological power. Some of them are reflected in the Huawei nova 9, a mobile phone that impresses with its stylish design, lightness and functions.

Huawei nova 9 (the manufacturer indicates that the name is written in lowercase) and Huawei nova 8i, launched in October, are the first smartphones of the company to appear in Spain after a long period without updating its catalog (this does not apply to other products In fact, they ended the "drought" of 2021.

Attached to the premium mid-range, it has an official price of 499 euros in an 8GB + 128GB configuration. It comes with 4G connectivity, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor in the background and is managed by Android 11 (according to EMUI 12, an interesting customization) instead of HarmonyOS the operating system itself.

The model seduces above all with comfort thanks to its light and thin design, weighing only 175 grams and 7.77 mm thick. The surprise it generates is combined with what the style conveys to the camera module, with two circles, one wrapped in a ring and in which it is located the main camera and the other for additional sensors and trim on the back. This one has a claim of an iridescent effect in blue and green colors.

20Bits tested the Huawei nova 9 in black, a more subdued, classic and elegant version. The feel and anti-skid properties contribute to the suggestion. The traces are camouflaged according to the reflections, although they remain marked.

In the design, we have to highlight the improvement that curved screens always provide.At 6.57 inch and OLED type, it is more than an extraordinary work of the company and gives a visual experience in line.It is characterized by 1.07 billion colors, FHD + resolution, refresh rate 120Hz ( standard, 60 Hz, high and dynamic selectable) and 300 Hz touch sampling.

The quality of photos and videos also does not disappoint. The Huawei nova 9 includes a 50MP ultra-vision camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, a macro (4cm) and a depth camera, both 2MP. selfie, which stands out at 32 MP, allows you to record in 4K at 30 fps and include image stabilization (AIS).
