What are the strengths of the Honor 50?

It has a 6.57-inch OLED Full HD + screen and a Snapdragon 778G processor along with 8GB of RAM, with the options of 128GB or 256GB of non-expandable storage. While the screen size is good, I have to admit that one of the weak points was lack of sharpness on the screen, which is reduced in size compared to other equipment.

When it comes to photography, the Honor 50 has a rear quad camera with a 108MP main lens and three additional 8MP, 2MP and 2MP lenses, as well as a 32MP selfie camera. The arrangement of the cameras is also aesthetically pleasing, so it does not cause trypophobia.

The equipment is completed with a fast-charging battery with a capacity of 4300 mAh, Android 11 and a fingerprint reader to keep users safe. It is also lightweight and at least in my case I had to try the version that brings the brand of the Chinese brand to the back, a success for those who like fashion and they want their cell phone to bow to Louis Vuitton.

But what I liked the most about this team was its operating system, the Magic UI 4.2 which alludes to Huawei's EMUI in cleaning the interface, the shortcuts we already knew with the Huawei brand, and thus better battery optimization.

Huawei is abandoning smartphones and now goes to the secondary market

Apart from that detail, the camera is good and the only thing I would require from it is a better stabilizer as I took a few shots where the image was dragged and the outline of objects or people with noise was blurred, plus the fixed lens and selfie lens with a vengeance achieve the goal.

It also has some tools that can be useful for journalists or content creators as you can record with both cameras simultaneously, which makes it easier to broadcast or take photos faster and more efficiently.

And while the Huawei P30 Pro marked a breakthrough in the tech world, the Honor 50 nods to the range and may be an option for those who have become fans of the brand and have not found a replacement phone after parting with Google. Of course, this is more than advanced. an option, but it's a new but no better option, and it may even tempt some Motorola or Samsung users looking for a compatible mid-range phone.
