The Motorola Razr launched in late 2020 as a strong bet in the foldable phone segment. With its clamshell format, the Lenovo phone became one of the best options on the market against rivals such as the Samgung Galaxy Z Flip, but its price was not right for all pockets.
Now the head of Lenovo's mobile division in China, Chen Jin, has revealed on his Weibo profile that the company is already working on the development of the new Motorola Razr.
According to Chen Jin, the phone will have improved power, a different interface to the previous model and a better look. The phone may reach China first, but it is possible that it will reach the United States and other territories, as was the case with previous models.
There is no more information on this possible device at the moment, but the price is expected to be lower than previous models in order to compete with foldable phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 ($ 1,100).
It won't be the only flip phone coming next year. Huawei unveiled its new Huawei P50 Pocket a few days ago, a phone with a round secondary screen and a 6.9-inch AMOLED main screen with Full HD + resolution, 21: 9 aspect ratio and refresh rate of 120 Hz.
