In June last year, as an independent brand of Huawei, Honor unveiled the new devices from the Honor 50 family, which landed in Spain with Google services on board. Since then, only a few months have passed, and we already have their successors, Honor 60 and Honor. 60 Pro just officially announced in China.

Like their predecessors, these two new 5G models boast a very eye-catching design and specs that, while belonging to the premium mid-range, are more typical of the high-end in some sections: OLED screen, 66W fast charging and Snapdragon 778G processor these are just some of them.

Two twins that touch high range

Both Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro have a curved OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and FullHD + resolution, but in the standard model it measures 6.67 inches and in the Pro variant it reaches 6.78 inches. The processor selected is Snapdragon 778 and Snapdragon 778, respectively. +, accompanied by up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of capacity.

Both phones share a fingerprint reader under the screen, the Magic UI 5.0 operating system based on Android 11 and a 4800 mAh battery with 66 W fast charging support. Connectivity is also identical in both cases: 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type C and Dual SIM function.

They differ in the front photography equipment which is 50MP on the Honor 60 Pro and 32MP on the Honor 60. Both include a triple rear camera with a 108MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, but the wide angle is 8MP on the standard model and 50 MP in older brother.

Price and versions of Honor 60 and 60 Pro

Both Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro go on sale in China today, but the company has not confirmed whether they will hit other markets, each being sold in four different colors and in different configurations depending on RAM and memory:
