It is understood that, with a more affordable price, it has a physical fingerprint sensor to unlock or turn off the device, located on the right side under the buttons that allow you to control the volume.

On the upper edge there is a 3.5 mm socket for wired headphones, while on the lower edge there is a slot for a data card, a USB-C charging port and an audio channel (no stereo sound).

The 6.67-inch screen stretches almost the entire front, broken only by the capsule-shaped notch that houses the 16MP selfie camera.

Overall, the Honor 50 Lite is a phone with a modern and functional finish. To suit different styles of people, it is available in blue, silver and black (the latter can only be ordered from the Honor Mexico digital store).

Game

Honor 50 Lite is left with a panel with LCD technology, but retains the resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels of its "brother" Honor 50. This type of screen does not mean that there will be faded colors or low brightness.

In fact, in the tests we carried out, we liked the Honor 50 Lite's image display more than the version with better features. The greater color accuracy and better contrast are noticeable for both streaming video and photography.

The manufacturer does not provide the update speed of the mobile phone, and in the technical specification it is not indicated (you can only turn on the function called intelligent resolution), however, there is no objection in the action clips: a smooth image is played without any kind of "ghost".

The sound of the device is strong and clear even though it is a single channel, we recommend that you take extreme precautions not to block it while holding the phone horizontally just to enjoy a chapter of your series or movie.

As we reported from Honor 50, 50 Lite also does not have Netflix in the Play Store, which continues to attract attention. As soon as we receive a response from Honor's communication team in this regard, this information will be updated accordingly.

Efficiency and autonomy

In the technical data, you can read that the Honor 50 Lite integrates a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor - the same one that includes units such as Nokia 5.4, Moto G30 and Poco M3 - and RAM with a capacity of 6 or 8 GB, the memory remains at 128 GB.

So, what to expect from this mobile phone is good performance, yes, without being the fastest when launching applications or switching from one screen to another interface. In other words, those who want an affordable and efficient mobile phone will find a good 50 Lite an ally.

As for the load, it is surprising that it contains 66 watts of the family, which means that according to the tests carried out, the battery has a charge level of 10 to 100 percent in just 34 minutes. The power supply has a capacity of 4300 mAh, so it can require daily charging with heavy use.

Compared directly to the Honor 50, it provides a better overall response, especially when opening an app, not that noticeable difference, or that it has a negative impact on the user experience.

Which one to choose?

For those looking for a more eye-catching design and higher performance, even if that means paying a few extra dollars, your phone must be an Honor 50. It especially captivates with the curves on the display and the quality of the selfies delivered.

Honor 50 Lite is more aimed at a young audience who wants to invest in a mobile phone every day, with extremely fast loading, a screen with good image display and sufficient performance to run applications such as Spotify, HBO Max, Instagram and TikTok, not forgetting the all possibilities opened by Google services and applications.

And if the impression remains that these are two smartphones that only share the family name they belong to and fast charging, it's because they are. The Honor 50 Lite looks more like a "twin" Huawei Nova 8i, which is not without attention since Honor has been a brand without ties since 2021.

Conclusions.

As of December 3, 2021, Honor 50 Lite is ready for purchase in Mexico, the manufacturer's online store, or from AT&T and Telcel. The suggested price is 8,500 pesos (approximately $ 400).
