  21. Lift up the bracket from the edge closest to the battery. Do not attempt to remove it completely as it will still be attached via the small flex cable.
  22. While holding the bracket out of the way, use the point of a spudger to pry off the flex cable underneath.
  23. Remove the bracket.
  24. Remove the 2.1mm YOOO screw holding the speaker connector cover.

  27. Insert a spudger under the top edge of the speaker near the edge of the iPhone case. Gently pry and lift the top edge of the speaker.
  28. Hold the speaker by its sides and rock it from side to side, separating the adhesive holding it from the bottom edge of the iPhone.
  29. Pull from the bottom edge of the iPhone until the adhesive joint separates.
  30. Remove the speaker.
  31. Remove the 2.3mm Phillips screw holding the Taptic Engine.
  32. Use a spudger to disconnect the Taptic Engine flex cable by lifting it straight up from its socket.
  33. Remove the Taptic Engine.
  34. Separate the adhesive tab from the first battery from the bottom edge of the battery.
  35. Repeat the previous step to separate the remaining two tabs of adhesive from the bottom edge of the battery.
